Bodo Graduate School of Business, Bodo University College (Norway) takes pleasure in inviting you to a program Business Practice Norway (BPN) to be held in August 2nd – 9th, 2006. Traditionally, Russian Executive MBA students from the Baltic State Technical University and the Arkhangelsk State Technical University have constituted the major target group. However, starting from 2006, the coverage of the program will be extended to include managers of different Russian firms as well. Over one-week stay in Bodo, participants will visit Norwegian enterprises of various organizational forms and get acquainted with the Norwegian style of doing business. In parallel, diverse topics in business administration will be covered through lectures and discussions. The official language of the program is English.
• Visits to organizations and enterprises of different forms in Nordland County of Northern Norway;
• Lectures delivered by the leading academic staff of Bodo Graduate School of Business;
• Business simulator “BEST”;
• Team-working, case-studies, and writing daily reports;
• Disseminating results of the course in the final report and presentation.

In 2006 we would like to make a special offer for those participants who represent diverse businesses in Russia and who search for their counterpart in Norway. Given your interest, personal business meetings with enterprises in Bodo region may be organized. Moreover we can try to arrange for you a several day traineeship on a Norwegian enterprise. If you are interested, let us know as soon as possible, so we can start discussing it with Norwegian companies. Request deadline is April, 30th. Please pay attention to that Bodo Graduate School of Business can not guarantee such arrangements.
Apart from all this, a very important part of the course will be a social program aimed at building up a team spirit and solid professional networks.
VISA, TRANSFER AND LODGING
Bodo Graduate School of Business will provide invitations for participants taking part in the program. This makes it possible for the participants to apply for a visa at the Royal Norwegian Consulates in Russia. Transfer to Bodo is to be arranged and paid by the participants themselves. We can help with reservations for Norwegian domestic transport (e.g. plane tickets). A possibility to charter a direct plain Saint-Petersburg-Bodo and/or Arkhangelsk-Bodo may be an option given a large number of participants. All participants will be placed in student dormitories during their stay in Bodo. Three meals a day will be arranged at the University Canteen.
COST OF THE PROGRAM
Program participants should pay for plane tickets Saint-Petersburg – Bodo – Saint-Petersburg (Arkhangelsk – Bodo - Arkhangelsk) themselves, as well as for visa support and international insurance. In addition, US$ 100 should be paid to Bodo Graduate School of Business for the social program. Bodo Graduate School of Business will cover accommodation in student dormitories, three meals a day at the University canteen, and all expenses connected to study activities.
